Metz succeeds CEO Christopher Twomey, who remains board chair

MINNEAPOLIS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Nov. 14, 2014– Arctic Cat Inc. (NASDAQ: ACAT) today announced that Christopher T. Metz, 49, will join the company as president and chief executive officer on December 3, 2014. Metz succeeds Christopher Twomey, who remains Arctic Cat’s board chair.

Since 2005, Metz has served as a managing director of Sun Capital Partners, Inc., a leading private investment firm with more than $10 billion in capital under management. Prior to Sun Capital, Metz was president at Black & Decker, leading its Hardware and Home Improvement Group from 1999 to 2005. During his 13-year tenure at Black & Decker, he held various other senior leadership positions, including: president of Kwikset Corporation, the world’s largest residential lockset manufacturer; president of Price Pfister, a leading manufacturer of finish faucets; president of Baldwin Hardware; and general manager of European Professional Power Tools and Accessories, based in Frankfurt, Germany.

BRP’S EVINRUDE DEALER NETWORK CONTINUES TO GROW

Sturtevant, Wis., October 20, 2014 – BRP (TSX:DOO) has added 17 new North American Evinrude dealers to its network in the last three months.

Since the beginning of the year, 67 new North American dealers are now offering consumers Evinrude outboard engines. These now provide more boaters with the opportunity to experience its industry-leading E-TEC technology and the striking new vertical design, clean-rigging package and best-in-class fuel efficiency of the revolutionary Evinrude E-TEC G2 outboard engines.

Elk River, Minnesota (September 5, 2014) – It was complete “baptism by fire” for the rookie debut of Andrew Carlson in The Off-Road Championship (TORC) series race in Crandon, Wisconsin, August 30-31, in front of 35,000 fans. Racing in his first ever Pro-Lite event aboard the AMSOIL, FXR, Best Western adorned truck, Andrew faced a final field of 27 trucks on a rain marred track with barely one-full practice lap under his belt…all from the very last spot on the grid.
